Delegation of Jakarta Participate in Joy Dancing Festival in China

Delegation of Jakarta participated in Joy Dancing Festival 2017 in China.

The performed dancers and choir were coached by Jakarta Sport and Youth Dept. (Dispora)

Not only from Jakarta, Indonesia, this festival was also participated by delegations from other countries such as from Russia, Hungary, Thailand, India, Australia, United States of America, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Japan, and Malta.

In the event, delegation of Jakarta performed Lenggang Nyai Dance, Ondel-Ondel, Gambang Kromong, Soleram, and Yamko Rambe Yamko.

Living Library Concept Introduced to ASEAN Delegation

Indonesian Ambassador to China, Soegeng Rahardjo welcomed Jakarta delegation participation in that event.

 

"We hope Jakarta could make similar event to promote Indonesia cultural arts, especially Jakarta, to International," he said in the release received by Beritajakarta, Sunday (8/13).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Delegation Leader, Ponirin Ariadi Limbong said, his side will be more prepared towards Joy Dancing Festival 2017.

"The performed dancers and choir were coached by Jakarta Sport and Youth Dept. (Dispora)," said Ariadi who also act as Jakarta Dispora's Youth Empowerment Section Head.

In that chance, each delegations were also exchanging souvenirs.
